Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics.  It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him.

Participants won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and they can ask any questions they like.  Or, if they prefer, they can just come along and listen.  Christianity Explored has been around for over a decade now, and it's been designed to suit different age ranges and people.

Christianity Explored is for anyone who wants to find out what Christianity is really all about.  You don't need to have been to church or have any knowledge of the Bible.  The 10 week course is usually split into two so initially you only need to commit to the first six weeks, although you can stop at any time.  During those weeks you'll work through the Gospel of Mark in the New Testament of the Bible and look at the person of Jesus, his claims and why he was here.  After that you can either stop or continue for a further four weeks to look in more detail about what it is to be a Christian.

The evening usually begins with a meal and an opportunity to informally discuss any issues or questions before continuing with either a talk by one of the leaders or a DVD presentation and then concluding with some further discussion.

We don't have any Christianity Explored courses in the pipeline at the moment but if you'd like information about the next one when it happens please send us a message via the 'Contact Us' form.
