Activ8

Activ8 is a club for 10 to 14 year olds who are in school year’s 6 to 10.  We enjoy a variety of games and activities both indoors and out.  Part of the evening is spent looking at the Bible and how it relates to our world and to the lives of young people today.
Activ8 meets at 7.30pm on Tuesdays during school term times, finishing at 9:15pm during the autumn and spring terms, and 9.30pm during the summer term.

Some of the things we enjoy include team games & quiz nights, club nights & film nights as well as occasional visits to LaserQuest and bowling.  We also enjoy a weekend away in the summer (usually early July) where activities include games in the dark, kayaking, ropes courses, wide games, a camp fire and loads more!  

Youngsters can start coming to Activ8 when they start school year 6 but it depends on the child.  Sometimes they find it better to wait until after their 11th birthday.  But the decision is up to parents and child.
