Sundays

On Sunday's the church meets together to worship God, to encourage & help one another and to learn from God's word.  Services normally last about an hour & 15 minutes and include songs, prayers, Bible readings and the main message or sermon.

The morning meeting is at 10:30am and the evening meeting at 6:30pm.

Morning meetings are very family friendly.  Children stay with their parents for about the first 25 minutes during which there is normally a short talk specifically for the children.  After that children under the age of 15 normally leave the main meeting.  There is a creche for babies & toddlers up to 3 years old, then there are Sunday School groups for 4 to 10 year olds and a Bible Class for 11 to 14s.  Parents of small children can either stay with them in the creche or leave them with experienced carers for the remainder of the service.  We recommend that you arrive in good time as the morning meeting can be quite full.

The evening meeting is often quite informal and is a bit less crowded!  There are often interviews about recent events and things individual members have been doing as well as interviews with guest or visitors about a specific issue or area of work.

Both meetings are followed by refreshments and time for a chat over a cup or tea or coffee.

There is direct access for pushchairs, wheelchairs & motorbility scooters through the main entrance in Chertsey Street.
